leading to a conviction.

As most of you know, Mike is very protective of his fish at
the quarry. In fact, they are a delight that many divers like to come and
experience.
Within the past couple of weeks, someone intentionally killed and filleted
one of them, leaving the remains under one of the UW platforms.
If anyone has information leading to the arrest and conviction of this
person(s), Mike is offering a $500 reward.

This has been a busy summer for Mike and
the crew of hard working volunteers.
Many thanks to
all for their hard work on docks and platforms, especially
those shops and individuals such as Frank and his staff of
Underwater World Scuba, and Dave at Huron Scuba that contributed large
quantities of cash, materials, and/or volunteer labor.
Thanks a million to everyone for helping make Gilboa a
better place to dive!!
Gilboa now has some of the best access to
the water of any quarry in the country!!

A much larger air compressor and
additional cylinder storage capacity has arrived. Preparations
will be made over the next couple of months to begin
installation of a system that will not only bank additional
air, but also nitrox.

A Platform has been
placed below the
Deep Docks.
Four submerged blue barrels
float the dock just out from the
entry steps. The depth of
the platform is approx 70 ft.

in to make this happen, along with the support of Don
Costanza, Scott Lang, and Bob Overstreet.
